Wine Tasting in Mandarin, Jacksonville, FL

Mandarin is a neighborhood inside the city of Jacksonville — not a separate city — on the east bank of the St. Johns River in the southern part of town. It was named for the mandarin orange groves that once lined the river, and it's known for its moss-draped live oaks along the St. Johns. It was also the winter home of author Harriet Beecher Stowe, who wrote about the area's beauty.

That leafy, riverside character makes a home tasting feel special here. Mature trees shade patios and lanais that stay comfortable much of the year, and the neighborhood's quiet streets make a relaxed evening with a few good glasses easy to host.
